Molly has been eating her rice cereal. The whole process works a lot better when you use a baby spoon. You can fit it all the way in her mouth and kind of scrap it off the spoon with the back of her lip. She likes it better that way.
She also discovered her thumb...and likes to suck it.

Molly loves books
Mo reads to her every evening before bed. Molly loves books. When they are open she follows the pictures and talks at the books. When you close them she stops reading. I read Molly my college text books. She does not seem as interested, but we are hoping she will read at a graduate level by Kindergarten.
Solid Foods...
Molly was given the green light to start solid foods. I couldn't wait to feed her, so I whipped up some baby gruel. None of the baby spoons were clean, so I used the smallest spoon in the silveware drawer. I forgot to find a bib and didn't measure the milk to add to the cereal. This post is actually her second feeding. Same spoon and no bib, but Mo's technique is more refined and less messy :)
